Don't Play PvP Without These 3 WoW Addons!

Have you geared your World of Warcraft character for PvP? Do you have the right spec and the right glyphs? If that's so, you might think you're ready for PvP. However, there's one more aspect that you must take into account. Your WoW addons.

The WoW addons you use for PvP just might make the difference between you and your opponents. Especially in WoW arena, if you don't use any addons, you will be at a considerable disadvantage, because your enemies surely will.

If you don't have any idea which WoW addons should you use in battleground and arena, here are a few ideas.

1. Cooldowns. Just as its name suggests it, this addon tells you the cooldowns of your abilities. The timer until your abilities will become available again is displayed on those particular abilities. Without the addon, to know a certain ability timer, you must hover the mouse over it. In arena, that will slow you down by a lot. Also, knowing at just a glance, exactly how many seconds there are until your PvP trinket is up, for example, can make a huge difference in arena. This addon is quite useful for arena. I'd say it's a must if you want to achieve high ratings.

2. Gladius. This is an addon specially designed for arena. It's actually a unit frames addon focused at this type of WoW gameplay. It allows you to see better the HP and casting bars of your enemies and of your team members. But the most important thing about this addon is that it tells you when your opponent(s) have their PvP trinket up, or on its cooldown. Knowing if an enemy can remove Fear, Sheep or any other movement impairing effect is crucial in arena.

3. Deadly Boss Mods. Ok, don't shout at me for putting this addon here. I'll tell you in a second exactly why it's on my list. Even if its name screams "PvE", this addon is very useful in WoW battlegrounds, and in some of the arena chambers. This addon's main feature is to tell you what a raid or instance boss is going to cast, for you to be ready to take cover. However, in battlegrounds it tells you the cap timers of the objectives. It also gives you an estimation for the remaining time your team, or the opposite team has, for winning the battle. Knowing the objectives timers, and the end-battle timer helps you in making a better decision on which objective to attack, or which to defend. Don't forget to share that information with your allies.

Now, these 3 WoW addons are really useful in PvP. But, to be able to play like a real WoW arena pro, you should use their WoW macros and keybindings. Of course, there are addons which contain quite a database of pro macros and keybindings for any class.
